NaBloPoMo

Did you know that National Blog Posting Month, or NaBloPoMo, is coming up, as well as NaNoWriMo?

I'm into NaBlo, but my heart is truly into NaPoWriMo, and fewer acronyms in my life.

Good luck!

HA! HA! 'and fewer acronyms in my life.' I know what you mean!

Um, I am nanowrimo-ing - does this mean you are too? become my buddy if so!

Also: I work in a non profit: there is no END to acronyms. Might as well write an acrostic with them...

Melissa, I don't have a novel in me, but I can post on my blog daily. I'd like to post poems in the month of November.

Are you writing poetry while NaNoWriMo-ing?

I'm tossing up whether to get into the poetry group for NaBloPoMo, because I'm still busy posting the diary of my September trip. My big beef with these groups is that no one has quite figured out that people all round the world join in. So what's with the "National"? You can't really claim that InNoWriMo etc is unpronounceable, it works quite well. ("In" for "International" of course)

Good point, Catherine. The organizers of these blog events forget the reach is really international. But I hope that doesn't stop you from participating.

I'll keep your comments in mind when the National Poetry Month (April) comes around--we should be more inclusive.
