Book Meme

I’m not one for the whole “tagging” thing with memes (I like to self-tag), but that won’t stop me from attempting a good one.

This meme comes from Poet with a Day Job: Top 35 books I’ve read that I would and have recommended to my friends and enemies (in no particular order).

Sharon Olds: The Dead and the Living
Sharon Olds: Gold Cell
Phil Levine: The Simple Truth

And if you want to do the meme, consider yourself tagged!

I'm so glad you have lots of poetry on there, as I'm always looking for recommends (my list is all fiction). And I forgot all about "Geek Love" - that was a good book. I think I'll try some Sexton next. Thanks!

The two Anne Sexton biographies are both good. And I like Anne's poetry very much.

Geek Love was a fun read!

January - great list. I loved Me Talk Pretty One Day and White Teeth. For some reason though, White Teeth took me like, four months to finish adn I read like, three other books while I read that one. Thanks for playing!
