The Best Laid Plan ...

Unfortunately, the new community-based poetry project I was working on, called Big Asterisk Poetry Project, fell through.

But I will still be posting poems here on Thursdays, and visiting other blogs to enjoy the fine work I've come to know during the past year.

Sigh....
I'll still visit and still hope to see you, but I'd so hoped a new poetry site would fly.

I don't think I will stop posting poetry on Thursdays. I do look forward to read from you and all those I have known via PT!

Rob Kistener has started a site called Writers Island for Tuesday posts. His prompt for next tuesday is already on.You can chk that out too.

So sad to hear that.

But it seems like Poetry Thursday will live on, even if its in an unorganized form.

Boston Erin -- *sigh*

Rethabile -- We'll keep the PT spirit alive. Long live Thursdays!

Gautami -- Thanks for letting me know about Writers Island. Cool. And I so enjoy reading your work, too.

Deb -- Me too, but it wasn't meant to be. So now I'll just have to come by your blog more often!

January,
Yours has ALWAYS been a Thursday visiting site for me and will continue to be! I am hosting for Poetry Thursday (just this week)--so I hope (hope-hope) you'll still share some poems and stop by...
Love,
D.

So sorry about the Big *, but I will still visit here to see what's up with you, and I hope you will still drop by.

Also, if you go to the PT site, it's roving until January (not you, the month!)

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. I was looking forward to a new, organized poetry activity.

I'll continue reading your work here, and hope that at some point a new version of P.T. will open up.

Jeannine, me too! Thanks for stopping by.

Check out the Writers Island project Gautami mentioned. It looks like a great follow-up!
